SIAL Middle East (SIAL ME), the exclusive regional food, beverage and hospitality trade event, is set to bring a plethora of interesting food and beverage awards and events, in celebration of its 10^th Anniversary edition this year. Held Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Presidential Affairs and Chairman of The Abu Dhabi Agriculture & Food Safety Authority (ADAFSA), the upcoming edition of SIAL Middle East will run from 9 – 11 December organised by Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Company (ADNEC).

Hosted by the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, the leading event aims to build on the exceptional success of the 2018 edition.  This year SIAL ME celebrates a milestone achievement of its 10th year anniversary and has cemented itself as the ideal platform to offer valuable investment opportunities in this region for food, beverage and hospitality companies, and will continue this year to host a range of awards and workshops for industry attendees in a trade-business environment.

The SIAL Innovation Area

Innovation is an important aspect of SIAL events worldwide and The SIAL Innovation Area aims to promote the world’s most innovative food products, and lends an experience for participants to gain knowledge on upcoming trends in the food and beverage sector.

SIAL Innovation is exclusive to exhibitors and judged by XTC World Innovation, providing the perfect platform to showcase new innovative products to a key industry audience. The process for the award is for newly introduced food and beverage products and the winner is awarded during SIAL ME. Once the wining product is decided it will then gain the honour to be displayed at all worldwide SIAL events. 

Hosted Buyer Introduction Site

The event agenda will also include the Hosted Buyer Introduction Site, an integral part of SIAL ME 2019. The program which consists of a select space where Hosted Buyers can meet with chosen exhibitors that will enhance their sourcing requirements in a speed working sessions. The Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority (ADAFSA), is on board to support this initiative after the success of last year saw 470 pre-qualified, fully hosted food and beverage buyers from 50 countries attend the event with a sole purpose to meet with suppliers and to source new products. 

 Abu Dhabi Date Palm Exhibition

Dates will also be a main focus this year at SIAL ME with the Abu Dhabi Date Palm Exhibition (ADDPE), under the generous patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Presidential Affairs and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority and supervised by the Khalifa International Award for Date Palm and Agricultural Innovation. ADDPE is the world’s only event for corporate collaboration in the field of date palm fruits and provides the biggest international platform for exhibitions to showcase their products and boost their presence in the global market. This year SIAL ME 5^th edition of the exhibition will feature 100 exhibitors specialising in date palm fruit products and 3,000 trade buyers from the Middle East region.
