Grand Ramadan & Eid Festivals 2005 to be held in Abu Dhabi & Al Ain, from 16-17 October to 5 November 2005

According to a statement released by the company, the Festival will be a 'Carnival of Joy & Shopping' for all members of the family. Preparations are in the final stages for the events, at which various Arab and foreign countries are participating, in addition to a remarkable presence from the UAE.

The police authorities have finalised all necessary arrangements to make the event a big success, bearing in mind the huge response to the event and expected number of visitors from; a large number of families, other members of the society from the UAE, the GCC countries and expatriates, as witnessed during previous editions of the event. The statement added that the festival includes various activities such as; shopping, games, as well as attractive prices on goods for sale, not forgetting the fun city which will entertain all ages. As part of the National Pavilions, you will also be able to obtain your goods for the Ramadan & Eid Festive season, as well as other items from the hosting country of the pavilion.

In Abu Dhabi the large National Pavilions will be organised under the following countries; the UAE, Egypt, Syria, Lebanon, Kuwait, Morocco, China, India and Thailand. Thailand will be participating for the first time in the Ramadan & Eid Festival with its own national pavilion. The outdoor areas will see entertainment programmes and more than 80 locations for external shopping and refreshments, which this year has a new and improved layout.

At the Al Ain Exhibitions Centre in the Al Khabisi Hall there will be National Pavilions from; the UAE, Egypt, Syria and Lebanon. The festival will stage also entertainment programmes for visitors effective from the opening day on 17th October 2005.

ADNEC confirmed that the Ramadan & Eid Festival's will have a significant characteristic this year among other exhibitions and festivals in the region, in general and in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain in particular.

Participating companies and shops have shown a huge interest in booking their space at this years Ramadan & Eid Festival's in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, which will bear witness to various products such as; leather and wood products, accessories, watches, jewellery, gifts, ornaments, antiques, toys, restaurants and various other items which families will require for this festive season, all at affordable prices.

Doors of the Festival's will be opened daily at: 2000 hrs and will be closed daily at: 0100 hrs. Monday's are restricted for 'Ladies Only' and Wednesday's are reserved for 'Families Only'.
