• Just the start of a busy month for ADNEC Live! Events

8 October 2012 – Abu Dhabi, UAE: The Chinese State Circus debuted its magnificent ‘Yin Yang’ show to enthusiastic sell-out crowds in the ICC Abu Dhabi at ADNEC over the weekend. All front row seats (VIP and Platinum tickets) had sold out by Tuesday and the ICC Abu Dhabi was filled to the brim with spectators of all ages for all four performances. More than 9300 people flocked to watch the show in total.

Taking place over three days and organised by ADNEC Live! Events, the acrobats delivered spectacular shows that proved to be a smash hit with Abu Dhabi audiences. The show brought a piece of authentic Chinese culture to ADNEC with the best acrobatic talent China has to offer coming together in one spell-binding performance. Fierce routines by Shaolin warriors and energetic feats by young acrobats were complemented by beautiful parasol juggling and musical interludes.

The company also provided more than 500 Chinese State Circus tickets to 11 different organisations via Cause Connect – Abu Dhabi, including the Al Ain Club for Special Needs, Zayed Higher Organisation for Humanitarian Care and Special Needs and Future Centre for Special Needs Children (FCSN), among others.

 The show is just the start of a busy event-filled month for ADNEC. Paying homage to the songs of ABBA, Björn Again will take the stage on 19 October in what will be their second visit to ADNEC. The group are back by popular demand with their unique tribute show, having performed last year to fantastic audience feedback.

Later in the month, everyone’s favourite purple dinosaur, Barney, will sing and dance his way into the ICC Abu Dhabi, performing seven shows from 25-27 October. Barney will also be paying a visit to the Al Ain Convention Centre from 8-10 November with another seven shows, making sure that no little ones need to miss out.
