Al Maa'red Weddings surpasses 120 bookings

Publication Date: 19 Apr 2012

In the January – March 2012 period, Al Maa’red staged 44 weddings. Last year (2011) was a record-breaker for the business with 89 weddings – a 300 per cent increase over the previous year when 29 weddings were hosted.

The unprecedented demand has prompted Al Maa’red to increase capacity by temporarily refurbishing Hall 2 at ADNEC as a dedicated wedding hall to cater for the peak weddings season in April and September this year.

Mona Al Darmaki, Wedding Planner at ADNEC, commented: “Our 2012 calendar for weddings at ADNEC is filling up in record time. Al Maa’red appeals to brides-to-be because we listen to what they want and then we make it happen - providing a comprehensive set of services that ensure everything is perfectly planned and delivered for their special day.”

A satisfied Al Maa’red customer said:

“My family and I are very satisfied with the good service and quality we received from the Al Maa’red team and we are very thankful for making my sister’s wedding such a memorable experience. We all loved the luxurious facilities and everything was timed perfectly from the delicious catering to the bridal entrance.”

In a bid to further enhance the experience, Al Maa’red has recently launched its Preferred Partners Programme, which aims to recognise trusted suppliers committed to best practice and safety.

“Our newly-introduced Preferred Partners Programme helps us do this, as well as recognising and rewarding the best vendors in the market. Couples don’t have to choose one of our preferred partners for their weddings at ADNEC, but most of them want to. They want the reassurance of our tried and tested suppliers” added ADNEC’s Al Darmaki.

In order to become a preferred partner, suppliers must score a minimum of 45 out of a total of 60 points in six key areas: quality, planning, timeliness, ADNEC experience, relationship quality and price. Preferred Partners then benefit from insertion on Al Maa’red’s Preferred Menu Card, which is distributed among all its clients, and an official certificate.

Al Maa’red offers a complete and fully inclusive service to its clients, from set design and lighting options to customised packages from set design and lighting options todress designers and photographers.
