ADNEC wins multiple awards at the EFQM Innovation Challenge (1)



Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company, ADNEC, has won the EFQM Innovation Challenge Award in two categories, ‘Innovation in Customer Experience’ and ‘Innovation in Circular Economy’, further cementing the company’s proven efforts in excellence and innovation.

The win has been announced at the EFQM Forum 2019 in Helsinki, Finland and the awards were received by Khalifa Al Qubaisi, Chief Commercial Officer of ADNEC Group who led the delegation.

Owner of the world’s leading management framework, EFQM is an innovative, not-for profit organisation, fusing data-driven insights, curated learning and development and networking opportunities for the benefit of organisations worldwide. This exciting news has boosted ADNEC’s further visibility and recognition for their continued innovation efforts.

HE Noura Mohammed Hilal Al Kaabi, Chairwoman for ADNEC said, “We are honoured to receive these prestigious industry awards and for ADNEC to be recognised for its innovative efforts. He confirmed that this achievement adds to the milestones ADNEC achieved in the this vibrant sector, as it takes up the number of awards it won to 106 from different international federations specialised in the international exhibitions and conferences industry. “The win will support the credibility of all programs and activities for which the company is responsible for implementing, and strengthen ADNEC’s leading position in business tourism sector”, Al Dhaheri added.

As a winner, ADNEC will be invited to share its successful projects and initiatives within and beyond the EFQM global community through articles, webinars and meetings.

For the first category, ‘Innovation in Customer Experience’ ADNEC’s submission was themed on its recently launched successful product, The HIVE; a creative and collaborative workspace where teams and colleagues can meet to discuss ideas or host off-site events. For the second category, ‘Innovation in Circular Economy’ ADNEC presented its Green ADNEC initiative which involves an in-house sustainability programme based on Corporate Social Responsibility.
