Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company (ADNEC) has finalised its preparations to host the tenth session of the World Urban Forum 2020 (WUF10) to be held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and in partnership with The Department of Municipalities and Transport Abu Dhabi (DMT), running at ADNEC from February 8 to 13.

This will be the first time that an Arab country will host the world’s most important conference on cities and human settlements. The forum is set to be the largest conference in Abu Dhabi’s history and provides a platform for decision-makers, businesses, urban experts and academics to share their expertise and create sustainable urban development and smart cities of the future and will be held under the theme “Cities of Opportunities: Connecting Culture and Innovation.”

The World Urban Forum is the UN-Habitat conference that has become the foremost international gathering for exchanging views and experiences on sustainable urbanisation and aims to raise awareness on urbanisation in cities and liveability across the globe. The event further cements ADNEC’s ongoing efforts to showcase their expertise in business tourism while highlighting their ability to attract and to successfully host leading international exhibitions and conferences. The event also highlights ADNEC’s continued support of the United Nations.

WUF10 is convened by UN-Habitat in partnership with the Abu Dhabi Department of Municipalities and Transport and ADNEC.
