New ADNEC Board of Directors to Build on Past Achievements

The Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company (ADNEC) announced that the newly appointed Board of Directors will focus on supporting the company’s core business activities and future programmes, enhancing the venue’s competitiveness and ability to attract more leading regional and international events to Abu Dhabi.

The announcement was made following a resolution issued by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, yesterday restructuring Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company (ADNEC) under the chairmanship of H.E. Noura Mohammad Hilal Al Kaabi, Minister of State for Federal National Council (FNC) Affairs.

Noura Mohammad Hilal Al Kaabi, Minister of State for Federal National Council (FNC) Affairs, and Chairwoman of Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company (ADNEC) Group, said: “On behalf of all ADNEC employees, I would like to thank His Excellency Sheikh Sultan bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Member of the Executive Council and all previous ADNEC Board Members for their dedication and valuable contribution to the company’s development over the past years, as well as their crucial role in promoting the business tourism sector in Abu Dhabi.  “ 

She added: "The new Board of Directors includes a constellation of prominent personalities who bring vast expertise locally and internationally to the board, enabling the company to continue the achievements and successes made since inception in 2005. Their presence will strengthen our efforts to promote Abu Dhabi as the business tourism capital of the Middle East. "

Al Kaabi concluded: "The vision of ADNEC’s Board of Directors will remain focused on building on past achievements, further developing and diversifying its event portfolio, and enhancing its competitiveness to attract more international events to the emirate in line with the aspirations and directives of the emirate’s leadership."
