Custom Show Emirates Moves Into Top Gear

Publication Date: 25 Mar 2015

The much-awaited Custom Show Emirates will welcome the general public and trade visitors tomorrow and promises car and bike enthusiasts an exhilarating experience, with its impressive line-up of international exhibits and ‘action packed’ schedule of onsite events.

Custom Show Emirates is set to run 10am to 10pm, from 26 - 28 March 2015 at ADNEC, Abu Dhabi.

“We have worked hard to put up a show that not only is an industry moderator, but also a platform to experience automotive entertainment in a safe and controlled environment. We thank all our sponsors, exhibitors, media partners and stakeholders for their seamless support and look forward to hosting them and our visitors at the show,’’ said Saeed Al Marzooqi, CEO, Custom Events, UAE.

Hundreds of modified cars will battle to win the coveted ‘Custom Cars Competition’ and receive the prestigious title – ‘King of the Show’. Visitors will also be able to watch and cheer the much-anticipated and intense ‘Engines Battle’, which is being held for the first time in the region. The renowned ‘Team Redline’ from the US and ‘Al Numairy Performance’ from the UAE will lock horns on time-attack mode to assemble the most powerful engine, completely from scratch – with the winning team taking home both the engines.

Bike enthusiasts can witness the exciting finish to the ‘Bikers Build-Off’ competition, which will see two master bike builders Florian Engel from Germany and Omar Al Tamimi from the UAE build spectacular custom bikes at the central arena of the venue. The show will also host a significant number of custom bike builders from Turkey, Belarus, Switzerland and Germany who are all set to dazzle the audience with their unique creations.

A special outdoor entertainment arena will see professional drifters roar into action in their modified 4x4s and saloon cars and screech up a storm. In addition, the ‘Dyno Testing’ event will ensure that performance cars have their engines tested to the limits and that their accompanying exhaust notes blend in perfectly with the rumble of the bass tubes in the nearby ‘Car Audio’ section, dedicated to the latest products in car entertainment solutions.

‘’The motoring event everyone was waiting for is finally here – with expected attendance of over 35,000 visitors and hundreds of exhibitors offering special deals on custom cars, bikes, kits and all tuning related products and services, it truly will be a landmark event and a must-visit one for tuning aficionados,” said Roman Gavrilin, Exhibition Manager, Custom Events, UAE.

‘The extensive schedule of onsite activities unquestionably makes it the biggest custom show in the region. Whether its drifting or stunt driving, dyno challenges or custom builds and car audio competitions, get ready to witness automotive entertainment like never before,’’ added Nasser Taqi, Partner, Custom Events, UAE.
